- My name is Denver I am 4 years old chronologically but when you ask I always tell people Im "24" and my mom says she really believes me=). I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes Dec. 19th 2008. Im still adjusting but my mom is teaching me diabetes awareness. I already know how to tell my mom when I am "feeling funny" and at every meal I want to know "Mommy how many carbs is this?". I love God and my family.
