- I was diagnosed in September of 2008. Since then I have been working at getting more people involved in diabetes awareness. I am also working on a program to get business leaders with diabetes to act as mentors to young adults with diabetes also. I also run a program called GET L.I.F.E. now Diabetic L.I.F.E. that is now setup as a non-profit to help people with diabetes get and stay motivated. IT is also being used by others but I am gearing it towards people like me. I am also starting a blog radio show on January 26th.
