Hi Robin, all of us founders want to welcome you, Raven and your family, to the Diabetic Angels, we are thrilled to have you and we hope you take full advantage of "Diabetes 101" and join the groups and forums, or start your own!
I've been reading your blog, and find it riveting! Please consider posting your blog on this site, it is so insightful! As Mollie's mom, I remember all too well when she was diagnosed at four, what it was like to "manage" Mollie's diabetes and like you, I too did the up all night routine...all too often, this is exactly what it takes. I realized that very few people really get it. However, knowing that your family and friends mean well is still important, because as your daughter gets older, you may have more time to teach them so they can help you raise awareness and maybe Raven will be able to teach her friends and classmates about diabetes and start her own chapter of the Diabetic Angels and together all of us will eliminate a little bit of the ignorance and fear that permeates the world!
Best wishes to you and your family and welcome again to the DA's!
