- I had a father with diabetes, but he no longer has thanks to a miraculous double transplant that occured over 10 years ago. Diabetic for most of his life(and mine as well) my father dealt with every possible Diabetic issue under the sun. He is proof positive that we will find a cure for Diabetes.
