I just wanted to post a little about myself. I'm currently in a DPT program in Maine at the University of New England and that's basically my life at the momment. My family lives in the Dallas, Texas area and being away from them has been the hardest for me. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes about a week before my 19th birthday in 2004. So this July 31st will be my 5 year mark. I'm a big outdoors person and love hiking, camping. Also love to work with horses whenever I get the chance (not so often anymore with school). I'm a big animal lover, and my lab (Ali or Allie) is back home in Texas! I've now been on two different pumps and am considering starting with a Dexcom in the fall. So if you have any questions or just want to chat let me know!
